Harman Pellet Stoves

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Harman Stoves for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

We have had a crazy winter here in the midwest.   Brrr.  I am not a fan of cold.  It can be costly and harmful to the enviornment to keep a home cozy and warm.  That is why I am excited to tell you about  Harman Pellet Stoves!

Do you gasp at the sight of your power bill?  Even more so in the winter?  Are you conscious of your carbon footprint, eager to decrease it where possible?

Dane Harman designed and built the first Harmon stove in 1979, hoping to reduce his family's heat bill.  Now Harman is the industry leader in home heating solutions.   This is no surprise since their beautiful free-standing stoves offer a popular heating alternative, while giving you amazing cost savings in heating your home!

Benefits of heating with a Harman Pellet Stove include:

  • 44% cost savings when compared to heating with oil, 53% less than propane heat, and 47% less than electric!
  • Biomass fuels are eco-friendly product, provinding an effective way to reduce your carbon footprint!
  • If all that wasn't enough, the federal tax credit on 75% efficient biomass heating appliances  (which expired on Dec. 31, 2011) was reinstated on Jan. 2, 2013. The bill provides a tax credit for qualifying biomass-burning stoves, among other things. The extender provides a 10 percent tax credit of up to $300 on a qualifying biomass heating appliance purchased between Jan. 1, 2012 and Dec. 31, 2013!

I’ve always wondered about these things! Thanks for the great info. We’re hoping to move in the next year, but I would definitely consider one of these for our next house!

I love the idea of having a heat stove. We live in an OLD duplex, and they installed the heat wrong, with the thermostat upstairs. So it is always really warm up there and freezing on the main floor. Would love to be able to heat just the main room with one!

I love that they provide even heat and easy maintenance, can be purchased as a free-standing unit and save money! I had never heard of them before but am looking for something to warm up the lower level of my home ~ this may be a perfect fit.
