I was in my 3rd hour of a late night fling with my Stumble Upon toolbar, when I came across this cool altered notebook project at Hero Arts that I thought would make a great last minute gift for Christmas. I love starting a new journal with the new year, and if someone made me one of these beauties, I would cherish it. You stick a 3×5 inch scratch pad inside the completed cover, which is simple to make with the free template provided at the link above. I don’t have all the Hero Arts supplies they list for embellishing, so I will make it pretty with the supplies I have on hand. If you make one of these, please come back here and share photos!
